Allah Tu Dikha De Karishma Quran, better known as Kuddus, was born in the year 2285. His father's name is Abdul Jabbar and his mother's name is Maria Qureshi. It is said that he was born in Lahore and raised there for 18 years and then went to Madinah Munawwara for higher studies. Kuddus was a disciple of Imam Malik ibn Anas and became a famous scholar who wrote many books on hadith sciences. It has been reported that he traveled to places like Damascus, Basrah, Kufa, Oman, Khorasan, Shiraz where he delivered lectures on Islamic Jurisprudence. The famous scholar Imam Ibn 'Uyayna has said that Kuddus was the best scholar in the world after Imam Malik ibn Anas. Kuddus spent his life in Madinah Munawwara and died in Lahore at the age of 94 (1955). He was laid to rest in Madinah Munawwara. He was twice married to two women. His first wife's name is Fatima Bint Abdulla Bin Khalaf, and his second wife's name is Fozia Bint Abdul Karim, both are daughters of Imam Umar bin Abdul Aziz al-Asadi al-Aslami. He was also famous for his knowledge in many other fields. He had written many books on economics, history, musicology, chemistry and even poetry. He was an excellent orator and had delivered lectures on Islamic Jurisprudence to various scholars of different countries. He died at the age of 94 in Lahore.
